Red Rocket is an adorable dachshund who was hit by a car, lost his left front leg, and was abandoned by his owner. He was taken to Heartland Animal Hospital where the hospital staff ministered to his needs with the help of monies from the Magnum Fund. PALS Animal Rescue was charged with screening prospective adoptive families and we applied to welcome him into our home. He's ours now and we're blogging to share his continued adventures!

A Spoonful of Sugar Helps the Medicine Go Down
We stopped at Starbucks on the way to Dr. Olson's for Maggie's annual shots. They gave her a lid full of whipped cream for being so cute! Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry
Maggie is such a lucky dog! Maybe Dr. Olson needs to invest in a whipped cream machine for all the doggies who come in for annual shots. Hope that everything went well at Dr. Olson's and that Sara and Dawn shared a few nibbles from the treat drawer as well. They're awfully good at that!
